Review
You see, when we are generating income, we are trading time for money. It is directly proportional that the more time you work the more income you get. While wealth means freedom. You don’t have to directly keep putting in time in order to get money. Income ties our hands and legs, consuming all the time to make ends meet. Whereas, in the path of true wealth creation, you are not answerable to a boss or tied to a 9 to 5 work routine. The author doesn’t mean to say working for an income is bad. He says only your investments will support you when you will be 65 and no longer in condition to work from 9 to 5.
This book is so easy to follow even for a common man. Author introduces a concept of compounding, which means getting interest even on your interests. Investing the right money at the right time in the right thing is real wisdom. A lot of proven concepts of wealth creation are brought into the spotlight, like franchising. It’s nothing but a precise implementation of human copycatting behavior. Synergism, which is marriage of two things to make one great thing. Just like thin waffles and ice cream to make an ice cream cone. It’s about changing our approach and seeing the bigger picture at every step we take in life.
Opinion
The only purpose of this book is, if you are to copycat anything, make sure you do the right copycatting. If you want to create wealth, make sure you follow people who have done this. It was a nice quick read that actually made me think of different approaches and helped classify my cluttered thoughts.
